The learning centre comes to you – realistic practice in your own rooms.
With OPIC-Sim® Mobile, the teaching and learning centre for out-of-hospital intensive care comes to the customer: ventilators, tracheostomy training models, suction and monitoring equipment, emergency equipment and teaching material all travel with it. Learning and practising take place in your own rooms, with your own routines and your own team – on the devices and aids that are actually in use there.
You choose one of the day seminars from the programme or put together your own programme from the content – from half a day to a multi-day qualification. We agree content, duration and group size in advance; practice takes place on your devices and on the equipment we bring, with your patients and routines in mind.

OPIC-Sim® Berlin – Teaching and Learning Centre at the HCPR Academy
Hands-on and real – the learning centre for out-of-hospital intensive care.
OPIC-Sim® (Outpatient Intensive Care Simulation) is a teaching and learning space furnished like a patient's room in out-of-hospital intensive care. Developed in Berlin in 2019 by atmungstherapeuten.com (Jakub Kotrč) and continuously refined since, it offers four fully equipped ventilation stations with every class of device used in out-of-hospital intensive care. Nurses learn here on real devices and medical products – in an environment where you can try things out, repeat them and ask questions. Today OPIC-Sim® Berlin is part of the HCPR Academy Berlin, where the day seminars and qualification courses take place.
Learn interactively: you work on the ventilator, suction, tracheostomy model and monitoring yourself – in small groups and with direct feedback. Care for real: you learn from situations as they actually occur on duty, in a room furnished like a patient's room. Get better: after every exercise we discuss together what went well and what you will do differently next time – so you take what you have learned straight back to work.
